PANDIT K.P.KARUPPAN [1885 - 1938]
Pandit Karuppan was a poet, dramatist and social reformer who lived in Kerala. Pandit Karuppan was called the 'Lincoln of Kerala' for steering socio-economically and educationally backward communities to the forefront.Pandit Karuppan's famous work 'Jathikummi', which criticised the prevailing caste system in kerala. It was written in 1904.
